this thing is incomplete. random fact: i am currently procrastinating my homework. more precisely, i'm trying to get used to sitting down and writing something, so i can do exactly that with my homework without getting distracted.

why did i make this site?

i just wanted to record my thoughts and stuff i did, because 1) writing a blog sounds like the coolest thing ever (even though now it's less of a blog and more of an unorganized thought note) 2) i can see what i did and think about what i could do, and 3) maaaaaaybe i can use this as a portfolio for something idk

what do i want to do in this site?

• random diaries/schedule records (idk what you call it in english)
• actual blog, aka writing that i actually put effort in (idk if i can always put effort, cuz i'm lazy)
• a collection of what i made, like hakwon essays, conlangs, or drawings

what is this weird language you have everywhere on your site?

it's called toki pona, and people make fun of me for speaking it at school.

toki pona is a minimalist (but not entirely. there are conlangs out there that are even more minimalistic. for a relatively popular one, see tuki tiki) language with 120-ish words (kinda).

it's original purpose was to simplify people's thoughts by simplifying language. some people still use it for that purpose, but in my opinion, toki pona's purpose is more like trying to express the most out of the least (how much things can we express with 120-ish words?) or getting better understanding of things by communicating the core of them (trying to explain what things actually are, not using jargon). personally, i use it to think creatively, not overthink about using the correct term, and to make myself a little niche.

why do you have the word "exist" in your page title?

if you're trilingual in english, toki pona, and korean, you know all of them say something along the lines of "a document of [my name in the language]'s existence" (technically in toki pona, i should have said "lipu pi lon pi jan Awa" but the pi placement is ugly)

the first reason is that i like the word "exist" cuz nobody uses that word as much as i do.

random human: hi! nice to meet you!
me: hi! i exist!
random human: what are you doing?
me: just existing i guess.

the second reason is because the vibe of the word "exist" is kinda similar to the vibe my life gives. if you "live", it's kinda like you actively do stuff, you know what's going on in your life, and you live a good life according to your values. (people on the internet have told me most people don't really "live", and that's why i think that) existing is just... idk, existing. you're just there, just like me. i don't know what's going on in my life. my time management is trash, my future plan is trash, my everything is pretty trash. but i'm working towards things being not so trash. however, i don't really go the right way in a lot of times. sometimes i try and fail, and people laugh at me. (actually, i laugh at myself and call them "people") sometimes i don't even try. so i think i'm just a human who exists through life, trying their best to live.

i know my reasoning was crap. go throw this in the trash.
